Job Title:
Class A Local Driver

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Local Driver to join our team. This position will involve transporting goods to and from various locations within a set radius from our distribution center.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Transport goods to and from various locations in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy in loading and unloading of goods
  • Complete pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
  • Comply with all state and federal transportation regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
