Description of department:
Nursing Support is our Hospital based Float Pool. The float pool supplements staffing throughout the hospital based on need.
Nurses who work in the Citizens Memorial Float Pool will be trained to float and support in a variety of areas.
Medical Surgical- 28 bed unit staffing ratio of 1:5-6Intensive Care-8 bed unit staffing ratio of 1:2-3Telemetry- 8 bed unit staffing ratio of 1:4-5Geriatric Psych- 12 bed unit staffing ratio of 1:6Birth Place- 8 bed unit staffing ratio of 1:2-3Emergency Dept-12 bed unit staffing ratio of 1:3-4ASC- pre/post op recoveryA typical day will include: Receive your shift assignment, bedside shift report, initial assessments, BMV scanning and med pass, coordinating and providing cares utilizing critical thinking framework, assisting with meals and daily hygiene, effectively educating patient/family from admission to discharge, maintaining patient/family confidentiality and privacy, demonstrating competence and knowledge that reflect current nursing practiceThe position is Full Time, NightsBenefits include:Competitive wagesAnnual merit increasesFull suite of insurance benefits available for employee and familyEarly access to pay with on-demand PayActiv ProgramEmployee assistance programPaid time offIncreased company matched retirementCompany paid long term disability planEmployee discountsPlease call Nicki Cupp at or email at with any questionsKeywords:
