Job Description
- Strong analytical and technical skills required
- Experience with managing and programming PLCs and DCS systems
- Knowledge of database software and computer systems essential
- Measurable improvements in unit performance aligned with business objectives
- Technical support for automation projects
- Development and support of Safety Instrumented Systems
- Application of cutting-edge technology for process improvement
- Implementation of engineering standards for automation systems
- Design and implement process automation improvements
- Propose enhancements to control strategies
- Collaborate with teams to develop solutions for manufacturing processes
- Lead automation projects and track process performance
- Train teams on new technologies and document findings
- Reports to I&E and Process Control Reliability Manager
- Team Members: Process Control Group
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of Process Control systems and Process Hazard Analysis
- Experience with DCS programming and industrial manufacturing processes
- Prior experience with DeltaV and Provox/Envox desirable
- 10 years' experience as a process controls engineer preferred
- DCS programming skills for production process control
- Understanding of reliability and documentation requirements for process control systems
- Demonstrated ability to apply Continuous Improvement Tools
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering Degree with proficiency in Process Control considered
