Overview

The role entails overseeing and providing operational backing for Daiichi Sankyo's Veeva CRM system within the IT department. You will collaborate with various sales and marketing teams to enhance existing CRM features and identify new ones.

Your primary focus will revolve around aiding our Omnichannel Marketing unit in various CRM aspects such as Suggestions, Next Best Action, Integrated Scheduling, CLM, Rep Triggered E-mails, among others.

Additionally, you will work closely with internal IT stakeholders and external vendors to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting Business Analysis: Evaluate sales and marketing needs and convert them into functional specifications for Veeva CRM. Interact with business stakeholders to capture and document requirements, objectives, and procedures related to Veeva CRM concerning the Omnichannel Marketing Team and other sales functions.
  • Implementation Tasks: Identify areas for process enhancement and suggest solutions to boost Veeva CRM and Omnichannel Marketing functionality. Offer technical insights on Veeva CRM configuration, conduct data analysis, and handle configuration deliverables tied to business operations. Facilitate user acceptance testing, provide training, and aid end users. Participate in understanding data integrations and API requirements with internal IT data teams/vendors linked to the Veeva CRM system.
  • Documenting: Prepare various system-related documents like system configurations, data flow processes, test scripts, functional specifications, and training materials. Ensure document integrity and version control using platforms like SharePoint and/or other M365 features.
  • Continuous Support: Develop an in-depth understanding of Veeva CRM and Omnichannel Marketing capabilities and industry best practices. Manage Veeva CRM system administration. Address and resolve issues related to Veeva CRM and Omnichannel Marketing functionality, data accuracy, and system efficiency. Stay abreast of industry trends in Veeva CRM and Omnichannel Marketing, offering insights for system enhancements and upgrades. Keep track of new upgrade releases in Veeva CRM, collaborating with customers to assess and implement as deemed necessary. Oversee Help Desk operations, guide and support application tickets, set and monitor SLAs, arrange training, and address user concerns. Provide aid across all phases of the CRM system development lifecycle by creating training materials for supported applications.
  • Collaboration Efforts: Attend client meetings to discuss standards and directions while advising on tech solutions and capabilities in CRM. Collaborate with external tech vendors and internal IT groups to ensure successful integration of Veeva CRM and Omnichannel Marketing features with other systems like C360, data warehouse, marketing cloud, etc.
Requirements: Successful candidates should fulfill the following qualifications, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related business discipline.
Experience Required

  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience managing, configuring, and supporting Veeva CRM (CLM, Engage, Approved Emails, MyInsights) and other CRM modules.
  • Good grasp of pharmaceutical and life sciences industry processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in business analysis, process mapping, and gathering functional requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably holds Veeva CRM or Veeva Vault certifications.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and Service Management principles.
