Responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, securing market penetration, and working with hospice program leaders to develop growth strategies and 'Books of Business' in their assigned area.

The Hospice Area Market Executive also oversees program growth, supports the professional development of staff, and collaborates closely with clinical leaders as a valuable resource.

Additionally, this role may involve assisting in the launch of new hospice locations or programs as needed.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Devotes time to training growth team members for optimal performance
  • Manages a 'Book of Business' for each Hospice Care Consultant
  • Defines and tracks growth objectives for all staff
  • Monitors growth metrics and communicates progress
  • Serves as a resource to team members in support of growth goals
  • Ensures key growth fundamentals are implemented effectively
  • Collaborates with program leadership on educational and marketing initiatives
  • Works with Medical Directors to advocate for community access
  • Monitors and reports on business-related issues and challenges
  • Manages their own portfolio of business accounts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in leading growth teams (preferred)
  • Master's in Business Administration is desirable
  • Experience in healthcare services sales is a plus

Skills:
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent language and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with hospice philosophy and services
