About the Position:


Thistle Delivery Drivers play a crucial role as the final link in the production chain of our plant-based meals, ensuring the prompt delivery of our nutritious and tasty food to our clientele.


This presents a unique chance to join the pioneering team for Thistle's fresh East Coast operations, situated in Burlington, NJ.


This role also offers a distinctive opportunity to become part of the initial team for Thistle's novel delivery routes in the Atlanta region, commencing in March.

These positions are part-time (5-20 hours/week).


The working hours for this role are: Sundays and Wednesdays, 4:30 pm - 10:30 pm, and Mondays and Thursdays, 5:30 am - 11:30 am.


Responsibilities:

  • Arrive at the designated Thistle facility or rolling truck hub at the scheduled shift time; ensure your smartphone is fully charged and your vehicle has a full tank of gas
  • Verify the presence of all items before embarking on deliveries
  • Utilize the delivery application to initiate and complete all allocated delivery tasks while adhering to customer directions
  • Retrieve return bags and ice packs from Thistle customers upon delivery, segregate bags from ice packs, and return them to the pickup point
  • Maintain effective and consistent communication with the dispatch team

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Prior delivery experience using app-based software is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Valid insurance coverage incorporating liability and bodily injury protection
  • Own a dependable, clean, well-maintained vehicle capable of accommodating multiple medium-sized bags containing meals, snacks, and beverages
  • Possess a reliable smartphone and be comfortable using mobile technology for navigation and instructions
  • Demonstrate a commitment to fulfilling responsibilities given that our clients rely on our Delivery Drivers
  • Familiarity with the assigned geographical area
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
$20 - $24 an hour


The initial hourly wage for this role is $20.00 within the pay band range of $ and reflects the company's warranted minimum and maximum bracket for this position at the time of this listing.
