The dispensing nurse is also involved in maintaining dispensing equipment, overseeing medication inventory, and documenting patient treatment details.

An ideal candidate for the dispensing nurse role collaborates effectively with counseling staff and approaches those with Substance Use Disorder with a non-judgmental and supportive mindset.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer daily medications to patients following program policies and medical guidelines.
- Utilize automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.
- Keep accurate records and reports as per Company protocols, Federal, and State Regulations.
- Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
- Manage medication orders, receipts, and stocking in adherence to DEA and State regulations (if authorized).
- Conduct daily patient assessments.
- Support Nursing Supervisor in training new nursing staff.
- Perform other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Shift: 5:45 AM - 1:45 PM (8 Hour Days), No Call, Every Other Weekend (40 Hour Guarantee).
- 13-week contract.
