ABOUT THE ROLE:
Michelin is seeking an on-site Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of new equipment at a fast-paced operational facility for a leading global mobility company. This role aims to enhance efficiency, reduce manual labor, improve ergonomics, and boost productivity. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Perform feasibility studies on functional specifications and assess solutions based on cost, milestones, risks, and functionality.
  • Follow established quality systems and methods such as risk analyses, design reviews, and quality planning.
  • Supervise equipment installation milestones, collaborate with team members, and ensure successful start-up and commissioning.
  • Manage procurement, conduct acceptance inspections, and maintain project documentation.
  • Lead mechanical contractors and installation teams during equipment modifications and installations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated individual with integrity and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience with mechanical design standards and software such as SOLIDWORKS, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
