Job Summary

  • Develops specifications for reports and analysis based on business requirements and available data elements.
  • Provides guidance to users and leads cross-functional teams to tackle business issues and generates datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
  • Conducts research and aids in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms, to ascertain healthcare expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies.
  • Examines intricate business problems and issues using data from both internal and external sources to offer insights to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to pinpoint influences.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • -OR-
  • One (1) year experience in data analysis and information reporting related to healthcare data, including pharmacy.
  • Engages in routine tasks at an entry-level to professional role.
  • Usually requires a college or university degree OR equivalent work experience providing fundamental knowledge and exposure to essential theories, principles, and concepts.
  • Receives significant instruction, guidance, and direction from others.
  • Utilizes existing procedures to solve routine or basic problems.
  • Acquires necessary skills by executing assigned work.
  • Learns to operate independently.
