Prior Authorization Representative PAY RATE: $17.50 per hour

Prior Authorization Representative HOURS: 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 am – 8:00 pm CST

  • Fully Remote

Prior Authorization Representative Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing multiple software systems to complete Medicare appeals case reviews
  • Meeting or exceeding government mandated timelines
  • Complying with turnaround time, productivity, and quality standards
  • Conveying resolution to the beneficiary or provider via direct and professional communication
  • Acquiring and maintaining basic knowledge of relevant Med D guidance

Prior Authorization Representative Requirements:

  • Experience with Prior Authorizations is a must
  • Comfortable working within operational hours
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare customer service / call center experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • High school diploma or GED
