Indivisible is seeking a Battlegrounds Manager who will report to the Battlegrounds Director, this position will help execute Indivisible's grassroots campaign to support a ballot measure securing abortion rights in Arizona and manage a field plan and budget to advance battleground priorities in AZ CD-01, CD-06 and Arizona's senate endorsed race.


The manager will work closely with the Battleground Director and the Managing Director to develop, manage, and execute winning strategies to collect signatures and advance 2024 Battleground priorities in Arizona.

This includes working across the Battlegrounds campaign team, managing the field budget and field plan & executing events with grassroots leaders in Arizona, and working effectively with a coalition of partner organizations to maximize Indivisible's impact.

This is a remote work position, but candidates in the Phoenix or Tucson areas are preferred. This position is full-time, with a salary range starting at $65,650 per year, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
Program management and execution of Battleground AZ priorities - 50%
Develop plan and lead execution of AZ field plan for signature gathering ballot measure efforts, AZ-1, AZ-6 and Senate race (in conjunction with Target Cohort Team)
Provide monthly progress to goals metrics across the field plan, including within the AAA, Senate and AZ CD-1 and CD-6 campaign efforts
Manage AZ field budget effectively and provide BG leadership monthly updatesPlan and execute on-the-ground events to reach campaign goals around signatures gathered and associated press and movement growth goals
Advance a team culture of experimentation and learning through debriefing work and iterating processes
In consultation with the Battlegrounds Director and Managing Director shape donor and press stakeholder messaging and plans with field and campaign expertise
Supporting Press team and Agave Strategy when needed to coordinate moments to hit Press goals for Arizona.
Movement Stewardship - 30%
Meet with Indivisible volunteers to support their work and guide their engagement in the campaign
Facilitate and encourage collaboration among a team composed of staff and volunteers to execute high-level campaign strategy
Own and execute the group growth strategies for Arizona, working closely with the group growth campaign team.
Partnerships and Coalition Work - 20%
Help build and maintain relationships with state AV tables, key organizational allies, and priority candidates
Represent Indivisible with local partners, coalitions and groups
Attend meetings and conferences with relevant partners and allies in the electoral space

Requirements
3+ years demonstrated experience in AZ issue or electoral organizing, including experience in ballot signature gathering or volunteer management
Excellent project management, internal communications and collaboration skills; demonstrated experience managing complex cross-team processes and projects.
Excellent writing skills and ability to craft clear messages
Alignment on the core values and strategy of Indivisible

Desired Qualifications
There is a strong preference for candidates currently based in Arizona
Experience in working closely with volunteer models and progressive ecosystem
Knowledge of PAC legal framework and independent expenditure rules
