Role at Company X:

This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the functionality of medical devices and drug/device combination products. Responsibilities involve conducting engineering studies to support new product development and preparing test reports for product submissions. The ideal candidate will collaborate within a team to address challenges, applying top engineering practices for root cause analysis and statistical evaluation. Key tasks include defining test methods, creating protocols, analyzing data, and crafting reports in alignment with company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Systems engineers to define verifiable product specifications
  • Create test fixtures, methods, and conduct Test Method Validation activities
  • Coordinate with partners and suppliers for test samples and manage aging studies
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Develop Verification Plans and test strategies
  • Utilize technical writing and statistical data analysis for report generation
  • Perform root cause analysis and offer recommendations based on data insights
  • Transform test methods into product specifications
  • Potential for leading Project Teams, including schedule management and team coordination.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience
  • MS in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • PhD in Engineering with at least 1 year of experience
  • Familiarity with ISO standard test methods and related instrumentation
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively within a team setting
  • Proficiency in technical writing for protocols and reports
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This role involves typical demands of a scientific laboratory environment, including standing during experiments and working at a computer for documentation.
WORK SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL
  • 5-10% travel may be required
  • Strong mathematical and complex data analysis skills necessary.
Work Location: On-site, with relocation support available
