Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Voice and Data Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining our voice and data networks to ensure high levels of performance and availability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure, including modern VoIP technologies, as well as a deep understanding of data networking principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff.
  • Support voice and data networks across the organization to ensure high performance and availability of service.
  • Basic understanding of Voice Recording.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving voice and data infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage VoIP systems, including call managers, voice gateways, and session border controllers.
  • Collaborate with IT security team to enforce network security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Firewall knowledge and expertise a plus
  • Document network designs, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in related Data Science, Computer or Information Technology field.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IP, TCP/IP, SIP, RTP) and network infrastructure components (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Experience with VoIP technologies and systems, including SIP trunking and IP PBX.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices from major vendors.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are preferred.
