Requirements for Staff Accountant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, complex formulas)
  • 2+ Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Preferrably QuickBooks or SAGE
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple company ledgers
  • Deadline oriented
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • High degree of organization, initiative, and flexibility to accommodate deadlines
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
