QCS Systems Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

  • Collect data from ABB and competitive systems for performance guarantee development
  • Provide process control expertise during QCS order pursuit
  • Develop performance guarantees for proposed Quality Control Systems
  • Develop Systems Engineering Plan for all projects, and manage Systems Engineering team for site coverage when lead role is assigned
  • Support integration test of systems during internal "One hundred Percent Test," as well as any Factory Acceptance Test with customer.
  • Develop software and graphic specials to meet project scope as well as any training materials.
  • Develop and deliver operator training schedule as part of overall Systems Engineering Plan
  • Ensure all control features are tuned and optimized
  • Collect data and review results versus performance objectives. If performance guarantees are being met, develop and present formal results per the contract; if not being met, work with the Project Manager on plan forward
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ideally in Paper Science or related field preferred) and minimum 2 years of industrial/related experience required.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Strong leadership and communications skills
  • Self starter
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
