Job Title: Welding Machine Assembler
BASIC DESCRIPTION:
This role entails assembling welding machines for the Power Systems Division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Engine preparation, base assembly, front panel subassembly, wiring, testing, and shipping
- Rotation between primary tasks and offering assistance as needed
- Application of ITW operating principles within the manufacturing area
- Training of team members
- Commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of engine drive products, circuit diagrams, and MRD procedures preferred
- Team player with a proactive and quality-focused approach
- Must be open to cross-training and flexible shifts during peak production
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of 10-25lbs and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of 25-45lbs
- Dexterity required for assembly tasks
- Prolonged standing and manual dexterity
- Occasional reaching, walking, and neck movements
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours daily
