    • The Registered Radiologic Technologist performs radiological procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performance of these duties and procedures requires independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Performs radiological procedures for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • JOB SPECIFICATIONS
    • Education and/or experience: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic training. Must
      meet requirements for registry.

      Knowledge: Must possess the necessary skills to perform radiological procedures for
      pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

      Skills: Above average computer skills. Preferred skills with AS400 and RIS/PACS System.
      Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills. Demonstrates self-direction in
      improving and acquiring the skills and abilities necessary to enhance job performance.

      Abilities: Expected to have excellent manners and must represent facility in such a way that
      patients feel well cared for and would return to facility in future. Expected to demonstrate
      proper telephone etiquette, and strong attention to detail. Comfortable learning and working
      with new computer systems. Be able to meet or exceed patient satisfaction at all times. Must
      be able to work independently. Must be able to interact with patients and staff in a courteous,
      professional manner.
