Job Description:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a warm and hospitable Hostess to join the Umbrella Dry Bar team.

As a Hostess, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience as they enter our wellness-focused and zero-proof beverage environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their seats or waiting areas.
  • Manage reservation bookings, take phone calls, and assist with inquiries regarding events, menu items, and offerings at Umbrella Dry Bar.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring it remains inviting and presentable at all times.
  • Monitor and manage the flow of guests, optimizing seating arrangements to accommodate reservations and walkin customers efficiently.
  • Coordinate effectively with servers, bartenders, and other staff to ensure guests' needs are met promptly.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating special events and popups, providing necessary information to guests and attendees.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a customerfacing role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a poised and professional attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service and creating a positive guest experience.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills is an advantage.
