Position Summary

The Operations Quality Intern plays a crucial role within the Office of the Chief Operating Officer by assisting in the implementation of standard operating procedures and leading a process improvement initiative in the organization. Collaborating closely with leadership, this position actively contributes to projects aimed at maintaining and enhancing quality standards and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include tracking performance metrics, supporting operational processes, and participating in the development of quality management initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the process improvement core team and facilitators in launching revised processes for Trinity Wall Street
  • Support the setup of feedback mechanisms by helping in defining structures, response standards, expectations, and accountabilities
  • Interpret feedback, generate responses, and contribute to the design and recommendation of process refinement approaches
  • Facilitate the design and execution of process performance measurement strategies
  • Collaborate with the core team to produce initial performance reports and provide guidance on key messaging
  • Manage the SharePoint database and oversee data tracking activities
  • Conduct independent and group research projects
  • Present research findings to senior executive staff
  • Engage in project management activities including project component understanding, timeline development, stakeholder engagement, and utilization of technical tools like Gantt charts
  • Attend meetings and document minutes

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Activities

  • Obtained a Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business or operations management, or possesses equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Exhibits keen attention to detail and collaborates effectively with colleagues
  • Shows commitment to continuous improvement for both the organization and personal development
  • Possesses excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and time management competencies

Required and Preferred Education, Experience, and Credentials

  • Holds an Undergraduate/Graduate degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to perform research and compile detailed reports
  • Communicates respectfully and diplomatically in all interactions
