Role: Senior ETL Developer

Location: McLean, VA

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer proficient in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Snowflake, and SQL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing robust ETL solutions, ensuring efficient data flow and management across our systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IICS to facilitate seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL workflows.
  • Implement and optimize data pipelines to ensure scalability, reliability, and high performance.
  • Perform data quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity throughout the ETL process.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide innovative solutions to meet data integration requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to ETL processes, configurations, and system architecture.
Requirements
  • 8 years as an ETL Developer, focusing on IICS, Snowflake, and SQL.
  • Expertise in designing and developing ETL solutions using IICS components (Cloud Application Integration, Cloud Data Integration, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in Snowflake data warehouse, including data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices, and data integration methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex ETL issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in IICS or Snowflake.
  • Experience with other ETL tools or technologies beyond IICS.
  • Skills in Python programming.
  • Knowledge of CDC (Change Data Capture) tools, preferably Attunity.
