Food Runner Job Description

As a FOOD RUNNER and representative of the Mama brand, you play a crucial role in embodying the Mama Spirit by being genuine, considerate, and courteous to all guests, colleagues, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities include ensuring exceptional service, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, and upholding food safety standards to meet and exceed guest expectations. Your positive attitude and dedication to providing a friendly and personal experience are essential to Mama's success as an urban kibbutz.


Objective:


The FOOD RUNNER is accountable for delivering top-notch service to guests, ensuring clean tables, prompt food delivery, and addressing guest complaints promptly.


Responsibilities:
* Ensure excellent service for guests
* Maintain clean tables and timely food delivery
* Greet guests and address complaints
* Contribute to restaurant cleanliness and stock management
* Uphold food safety standards and safe work practices

Skills/Qualifications
* Outgoing and friendly demeanor
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to perform basic math
* Dependable and trustworthy
* Proficient in computer software (POS) and communication
* Strong work ethic


Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and move objects safely
* Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
* Perform cooking and communicate effectively
* Use visual and auditory senses effectively
* Taste and smell accurately
