Manages the Vending Branch of Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS). Plans, coordinates, supervises and controls direct vending operations that may include food, retail, drink and amusement machines. Directs and supervises storage, inventory control, pricing, cash reports, equipment repair, maintenance and installation of vending equipment. Ensures security of funds, merchandise, property and equipment. Oversees accuracy of reports, receipts, accounts and performance data. Assists in developing business strategies, ensuring policy and procedural compliances, measuring performance and correcting failing strategies. Plans, organizes work schedules and manages internal resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. Prepares financial plan, budget, inventories, cost controls and related records and reports. Reviews financial status of the assigned activity and recommends changes considered necessary. Trains, schedules work shift, appraises performance, counsels assigned personnel and recommends personnel actions.

Effectively supports the Marine Corps Equal Employment Opportunity policy and ensures compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, hazardous material handling and other environmental issues.

Manages new property resources and provides advice, renovations and improvements.

Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud, waste and abuse.

Plan, organizes work, and manages internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. Prepares internal office financial plans and related records and reports, and exercises authority on approved budget. Monitors programs on a regular basis, and initiates corrective action to ensure support of operating programs of MCCS. Manages new property resources and may provide direction on facility renovations and improvements. Develops long range plans in conjunction with internal operating directives. Must be alert to substance abuse and take appropriate action.
