Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Warehouse Associate IV at DISH's distribution center is a key role that involves using forklift skills for various activities:
- Perform shipping, receiving, and stocking tasks as directed
- Manage inventory and maintain stock records
- Ensure products are moved through the warehouse floor safely and efficiently
- Handle shipping paperwork accurately
- Prepare and ship finished goods
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
This list covers the primary responsibilities of the role, and additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
To succeed in this position, candidates must be able to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The requirements include:
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience using a computer
- Previous experience in warehouse or distribution with forklift operation skills
Skills:
- Ability to interpret documents and safety rules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Visual acuity to detect product abnormalities
- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations
Reasoning Ability:
- Capable of following detailed instructions
- Problem-solving skills for standardized situations
Certificates, Licences, Registrations:
- Valid Forklift Certification
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $20.62 per hour
