Overview

Execute night audit operations ensuring financial controls are maintained and hotel standards are met. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Security, Housekeeping) to ensure top-notch service is delivered to all guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.
  • Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and the computer.
  • Rectify errors, handle computer glitches occurring during the shift.
  • Input revenue/expenses/allowances into the front office system for generating daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day.
  • Adhere to attendance regulations and remain available for regular work hours.
  • Carry out other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preference for hotel experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in making accurate calculations using a 10-key.
  • Ability to handle guest and associate concerns tactfully and positively.
  • Aptitude for accessing and inputting information precisely using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adjust communication style for various audiences such as supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
