Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research, analysis, and distribution of criminal intelligence information related to activities and relationships within correctional facilities or related populations.



Essential Functions:

  • Conduct research on criminals and suspected individuals through various sources.
  • Organize and analyze information to identify security threat groups and potential criminal activities.
  • Perform crime analysis, mapping, and telephone toll analysis.
  • Identify leads for investigations and gather intelligence during critical incidents.
  • Prepare visual aids and maintain databases for information tracking.
  • Attend meetings and conferences to share information.


Job Requirements:

  • Six months experience in criminal investigation or intelligence.
  • Experience in research, collection, and analysis of information to identify criminal activity patterns.
  • Knowledge of criminal laws, rules, and procedures.
  • Experience in using automated information systems and spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of inferential statistics and federal regulations related to criminal intelligence.
