Learning Objectives:
- Provide systems support for our business systems, by diagnosing hardware, software, and networking problems; perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance, track and document work in our ticketing system, set up and configure new workstations, install and update software, perform virus removals, clean up and tune systems as well as providing remote, telephone, and onsite support.
- Assist Senior Systems Administrator in the implementation and management of the Unix based systems of the Company, including both inhouse and third party software; as well as all aspects of Unix systems management including performance monitoring and tuning, backup and recovery, hardware and software maintenance, capacity planning, and implementation of advanced design concepts.
Education & Experience:
- Degree from an accredited (two or four year) college or university in Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Information System Management, or other technology related disciplines.
- One year in an IT Support Role, or internship/coop experience.
