**Join the KinderCare Education team as a Driver** As a Driver, you play a crucial role in safely transporting staff and the children we serve to and from school, exciting field trips, and various locations.

**When you become a Driver with us, you will:**

  • Ensure the safety and supervision of children during transport to schools, field trips, and other approved locations by the Center Director
  • Comply with KinderCare Education rules and all governmental regulations concerning child care
  • Keep the Center Director updated on essential information regarding child care and safety
  • Assist with and shoulder responsibilities for other daily center tasks as necessary
  • Drive center vehicles for maintenance tasks like oil changes and state inspections when required
  • Participate in all staff meetings, center events, and parent/customer meetings as requested

**Skills and Experience needed:**

  • Affection for children and a strong drive to make a positive impact daily
  • Current valid driver's license with a maximum of three moving violations in the past three years (without alcohol or drug-related convictions)
  • Minimum age of 21 and ability to operate center vehicles
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid or willingness to acquire it
  • Flexibility in working hours and tasks
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication abilities
  • Preferably two years of experience in transporting children
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds and may need to work in classrooms or in the kitchen
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
