WellStone is North Alabamas most comprehensive behavioral healthcare provider serving over 13,000 persons a year in Huntsville, Cullman and Decatur. We are a non-profit community organization that offers a wide range of services for every phase of life, from children to older adults.

**We are hiring for a Van Driver/Children's Aide.**

**What we're looking for-**

High School Diploma or GED

Valid drivers license and good 5-year driving record.

Knowledge of community, i.e. streets/routes, etc.

Ability to communicate effectively- excellent Oral and Written Communication Skill

**What you'll be doing-**

Drive 14 passenger van to transport clients ages 3 to 5 to & from the Nova Academy

Maintain cleanliness of van daily

Perform preventative maintenance checks on van

Adhere to the Citys Department of Transportation rules and regulations regarding transporting or driving a city vehicle.

Report any vehicle issues immediately to the Facilities Manager

Serve as Administrative support to Nova Academy Staff

+ Administrative Support Duties to include recording daily attendance, assist with gathering/organizing needed classroom supplies, contacting Families at the direction of program manager and/or Therapist,

Provides support to Academy staff and children enrolled in the Nova Academy

+ Supportive Duties to include, providing oversight of child/children needing individualized attention, assist with classroom management, assist with providing information to Client families, assist with distribution of meals, assist with maintaining cleanliness of Program area

Other administrative and support functions as requested or assigned by the Program Manager.
