Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Skill Verification, Competent to Operate program, and training Craft Professionals.
  • Conduct NCCER Project specific training.
  • Provide training to all levels of helpers, journeymen, foreman, and general foreman.
  • Ensure Craft Competency Compliance to ES&H Core Processes and SWPP's.
  • Maintain good communication with the leaders of each trade associated with the project.
  • Support recruitment by interviewing potential Crafts applying for jobs.
  • Share with Craft Professionals the Vision, Values, and Commitments of our company.
  • Update all materials for each trade when appropriate.
  • Conduct field visits to assess and verify the progress of the skills taught in training.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of demonstrable work experience in construction.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Experience in one or more discipline skill sets (Mechanical, Piping, Structural, Rigging, Electrical, etc.).
  • Ability to relate to Client, Management, Supervision, and teamwork.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.
  • Supervision experience is desirable.
  • Experience in teaching/training/instruction is desirable.
