Summary

The Production Supervisor plays a key role in fostering strong relationships with team members to lead a highly motivated team of 25-50 individuals dedicated to producing high-quality window and door products. The focus is on ensuring team members perform their job responsibilities safely and effectively by utilizing standardized methods and providing consistent communication, training, coaching, development, recognition, and supervision.

What You'll Do
  • Supervise team members within established operational systems.
  • Operate complex systems and adjust processes to optimize quality and productivity.
  • Develop daily and weekly production plans, including resource planning and performance monitoring.
  • Explain action plans to support team members and align with business goals.
  • Assist in setting up and testing new products or processes.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
  • Design work schedules to meet commitments and approve overtime when necessary.
  • Review performance against health and safety benchmarks and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Provide coaching to enhance team members' skills.
  • Identify and report instances of non-compliance.
Who You AreEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or Engineering related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 3-6 years of production supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated track record in ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and Lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to lead and motivate hourly team members.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven solutions.
  • Experience in resource management and goal achievement.
