Patient Support Associate-Central Nursing Service-Day Shift

Position Summary:
We've got a great chance for you to join us as a Patient Support Associate-Central Nursing Service-Day Shift (35 hours). In this role, you'll be working under the supervision of the Nurse Manager to assist in maintaining the unit's physical environment, setting up equipment and supplies, conducting customer relations tasks, complying with regulatory functions, and supporting patient care activities on the assigned unit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Remove linen from patient care areas and assist in changing linen on unoccupied patient beds.
- Distribute water pitchers, cups, and straws as directed by the RN.
- Assist in managing patient belongings, conducting inventories, securing, and transporting patient belongings.
- Perform patient transport of discharged patients occasionally.
- Prepare patients for transportation prior to patient transport arrival.
- Ensure adequate inventory of patient care supplies,
- Retrieve supplies from various locations and replenish as needed.
- Facilitate exchange of emergency equipment.
- Transport clinical equipment to different departments.
- Adhere to infection prevention standards.
- Clean spills, unit-based equipment, and store as instructed.
- Assemble, locate, and maintain unit-specific equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, you need a High school education or equivalent, with good English communication skills. Expected to perform satisfactorily within 3 months.
Qualified candidates must effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

The salary range for the role is $50,854.95 annually, with actual salaries dependent on experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
The listed salary range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
