Role Overview:
- Engage in innovative research in AI, machine learning, and robotics with a specific emphasis on autonomous vehicle technology.
- Design and implement advanced algorithms for autonomous vehicles to enhance perception, control, and decision-making capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research outcomes into our autonomous vehicle platform for practical use.
- Stay informed on the latest AI advancements and propose enhancements to existing systems.
- Share research insights at industry events and through publications in reputable conferences and journals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience in autonomous vehicle technology, sensor fusion, computer vision, and AI applications.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding junior researchers and solving complex technical challenges.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python, as well as AI development tools like Tensor Flow.
- Knowledge of robotics software and frameworks such as ROS.
- Ability to obtain or hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.
