Our client in Lone Oak is looking for a RELIABLE part time caregiver to work Tuesday - Thursday from 1 PM - 4 PM to assist with daily needs such as meals, medication reminders, socializing, cleaning around the home, transportation to appointments as needed (mileage reimbursement available for all transportation needs), and using the restroom. Caregivers will need to assist with health and general activities on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, ensuring the comfort and dignity of the individual at all times.
- Mobility Assistance: Offer support with mobility, including transferring from bed to chair, wheelchair assistance, and accompanying on walks or outings as needed.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary requirements and preferences, ensuring a balanced and healthy diet.
- Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying living spaces, doing laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized environment conducive to the well-being of the individual.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful interactions and companionship, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment while promoting social engagement and mental stimulation.
- Transportation: Provide transportation to medical appointments, errands, and recreational activities, ensuring safety and timely arrival at destinations.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients, promoting independence and dignity.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families, providing companionship and emotional support.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Compassionate and caring demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
