Exciting Opportunity as a Cardiac Stress Technician
We are searching for a dedicated Cardiac Stress Technician to join our team. As a Cardiac Stress Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting the onsite physician in conducting various cardiac stress tests and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cardiac stress tests (both nuclear and non-nuclear) while being supervised by registered nurses and physicians on-site.
- Perform tasks such as preparing clinical charts, monitoring vital signs, conducting EKGs during stress tests, and educating patients on heart monitor usage.
- Input data into the EMR system and provide necessary patient education.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is a must.
- Either a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology/Science or completion of a Cardiac Technician course is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in 12-lead ECG interpretation.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; possession of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
- Experience with EMR systems is preferred along with prior clinical experience, particularly in cardiology.
- Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and patient care skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and healthcare providers in a team-oriented environment.
