Position Objective:
The Employee Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an essential member of the Employee Health (EHO) team responsible for maintaining records and providing services to support the health and wellbeing of Luminis Health employees.
Essential Job Duties:

- Provides care to employees in a culturally, developmentally, and appropriate manner.
- Follows proper standard operating procedure (SOP) for new hire onboarding, including but not limited to drawing labs, fit tests, administering immunizations, and urine screening.
- Administers required annual immunizations.
- Monitors ongoing and sprint vaccination trackers and reaches out to employees for appointments as needed.
- Assists in the annual fit testing process for required staff members.
- Supports staff members in the workplace injury process, documents injuries, and ensures proper and complete data collection.
- Collaborates with EHO team members to address issues as they arise and proactively seek out new methods for process improvement.
- Consistently communicates barriers to excellence, near misses, and errors.
- Participates in departmental staff meetings.
- Acts as an ambassador for Luminis Health by living our values (Respect, Inclusion, Service, and Excellence).
- HS diploma/equivalent
- Adherence to credentialing requirements of LH as stated in the nursing bylaws.
- Current licensure as a practical nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Providers BLS.
There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.
Physical Demands -
Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
