Position Summary: The Senior Donor Manager will be part of the Global Relationships and Resources team, reporting to the Senior Director of Major Gifts. Their main task is to develop and oversee a group of major donors who support Lutheran World Relief and other Corus International brands.

Location: Texas and surrounding region.

The success of the role is measured by various KPIs, including:

  • Fundraising revenue goals (individual and team)
  • Donor Prospects Qualified
  • Team Engagement
  • Number of gifts secured

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and manage a portfolio of 150 major donor prospects.
  • Create tailored strategies for donor engagement and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Work with the Senior Director to set revenue objectives for the region.
  • Assist with volunteer management, events, and regional strategies.
  • Undertake special projects to further Corus International's mission.

Education & Experience:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and 8 years of work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful fundraising in nonprofits.
  • Experience with donor relationship management and solicitation.
  • Skilled in face-to-face meetings and soliciting major gifts.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to create compelling donor materials.
  • Collaborative work style with self-motivation.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Physical demands may include bending, standing, driving, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Mental requirements include learning new tasks, effective communication, and computer proficiency.

Working Conditions:

  • Preferred locations: Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.
  • Travel up to 40% for domestic business purposes.
