Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and voice disorders.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and other health care professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Implement therapy interventions effectively, adjusting strategies according to student progress.
  • Document and report on treatment plans and progress.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with the latest research and techniques in speech pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid state license in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience in a pediatric or school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
