We're currently looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI location.

This role will be responsible forThis role is electrical system and component test engineer focused on Electrical Control Units (ECUs).Test component lead engineer for ECUs such as BCM/HFM, CAN Gateway, USM, ACU and/or other core ECU's within the body electronics architecture.

Lead CADICS test plan on NTCNA programs aligned with component and vehicle development plan.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

Collaborates with Nissan R&D ECU design team, NML test teams, supplier and other cross-functional Nissan R&D teams to ensure vehicle component performance, vehicle network performance and system functionalities.

Conduct electrical buck/vehicle component and system validation according to test standard/plan/checklist.
Collaborates with various cross-functional Nissan R&D teams to perform root cause analysis, determine countermeasures and perform countermeasure confirmations.
Leads Americas region in area of assigned ECU component test support and specific system level support.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in related engineering disciplineMicrosoft Office Tools knowledgeBe able to work independently and proactivelyPreferred:Experience in electrical design and/or test in automotive industryUnderstanding of automobile electronic, vehicle communication networks such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc...Understanding of Systems Engineering method and approach.

Experience in using tools required for vehicle electronic development such as CAN Tools(CANoe / CANalyzer), oscilloscope
Internal candidates at E2, E3, and E4 level will be considered for lateral transferWelcome to an open lane of possibility.
