About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned designer to assume a leadership position within our organization. In this role, you will oversee all aspects concerning design, user experience, and branding.

  • Ambitious self-starter with a zeal for design, ranging from user experience and graphic design to mobile UI and wireframing.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced setting and have the ability to steer conversations effectively.
  • Harbor aspirations to lead a design team from Series A funding to IPO.
  • Ready to confront challenges, champion your vision, and adapt swiftly to evolving scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
  • Take the lead in designing consumer-facing products, encompassing wireframing, UX, and UI.
  • Collaborate with developers to facilitate the implementation of designs.
  • Conduct user tests on live products and prototypes to gather feedback on design and functionality.
  • Utilize research insights to refine existing or create new UI/UX wireframes, user flows, and designs.
  • Develop content and designs for various channels, including email, social media, website, and more.
  • Establish and update style guides and templates.
  • Devise strategies to enhance product retention and growth, overseeing new product development.
  • Stay abreast of design and fintech trends.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in design and user experience.
  • Proficiency in leading design tools, with a preference for Figma or Sketch.
  • Effective and transparent communicator who values collaboration.
  • BS degree in a relevant field.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience in financial services and startups.
  • Experience in managing interns and entry-level staff.
  • Proficiency with various tools, including Figma, Zeplin, Sketch, and more.
