Job Description

One Source Freight Solutions is looking for a full-time accountant to join our team at the Phoenix office. We are a non-asset based 3PL company specializing in the transportation of Asset Recovery and Project Solutions.

The accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. You will use accounting software to process transactions like accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expenses. We need someone familiar with basic accounting procedures and who enjoys working with numbers. The ideal candidate will ensure the company's accounting functions run smoothly. This role offers opportunities for learning and potential internal promotions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process financial transactions, prepare reports, and analyze financial statements.
  • Generate reports with insights for management.
  • Monitor accounts payable/receivable and assist in budget preparation.
  • Collaborate with department managers for budget management.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field or 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and ability to work independently.
  • Local candidates preferred.
