Position: Skilled Foreman for Datacenter Installation Projects at a Leading Company

We are looking for a talented Foreman to oversee data center installation projects. The ideal candidate will be in charge of managing projects from start to finish, ensuring top-notch workmanship and client satisfaction. This role calls for strategic planning, leadership skills, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Take full responsibility for data center projects, from initial setup to final completion and documentation.
  • Leadership: Lead and supervise team activities, ensuring projects meet high-quality standards.
  • Customer Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring project outcomes align with expectations and promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all installations comply with industry standards for copper and fiber products, conducting testing, troubleshooting, and system validation.
  • Equipment and Safety Management: Supervise testing equipment operation, ensure equipment safety and proper usage, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; industry certifications such as BICSI are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years leading teams in a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Competent in directing teams for assembling and installing cable trays, racks, and cabinets in telecommunications setups.
  • Familiarity with ground and bonding principles outlined in industry methods.
  • Knowledge of operating Cat5, Cat5E, Cat6 testers and Visions fiber power meter testers.
  • Ability to interpret and troubleshoot test results from fiber and copper testers.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in independent management of large projects.
  • Certifications: BICSI Technician, industry manufacturer certifications, OSHA30, HILTI powder-actuated tools, and Confined Space certifications are preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 75lbs, prolonged standing, and ladder climbing.

  • Valid driver's license with clean record; company vehicle provided for this role.
