About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team at Asbury Place in Hampton, VA. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and prospective residents. Your main goal will be to lease apartments and ensure that all leasing activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management software
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome prospective residents and provide them with a tour of the property
  • Assist prospective residents with the leasing process, including completing lease agreements and collecting rental deposits
  • Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing records and reports
  • Conduct market surveys and maintain knowledge of competitive properties in the area
Skills:

As a Leasing Consultant, you will utilize your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with prospective and current residents. You will also use your sales skills to lease apartments and maintain a high level of occupancy. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite will be utilized to maintain accurate leasing records and reports. Additionally, your ability to conduct market surveys and maintain knowledge of competitive properties in the area will be essential to the success of the property.
