  • Supervise nursing staff during the 2nd shift, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to protocols.
  • Manage and coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Oversee catheterization procedures and IV insertions, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
  • Utilize EMR and EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Provide basic life support as needed and respond to emergency situations effectively.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize nursing management skills to optimize team performance and workflow efficiency.
  • Demonstrate expertise in physiology to assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, adjusting as necessary based on individual needs.
  • Stay updated on best practices and new developments in nursing to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications

  • Management experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in catheterization, IV insertion, and basic life support
  • Previous experience in supervising nursing staff
  • Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems
  • Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology
  • Experience with Epic and other healthcare software systems
  • Background in critical care, hospital, and nursing home settings
  • Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of DRG, ophthalmology, and cardiac catheterization
  • Competency in airway management, specimen collection, and suturing
  • Certification in BLS and other relevant healthcare certifications
