Position: Assistant Maintenance Supervisor at Camden



Job Summary:



Hey there At Camden, our Assistant Maintenance Supervisors rock at maintaining multifamily communities and ensuring our residents have an amazing living experience. As an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the overall maintenance of the community, from repairs to preventative maintenance. We are looking for a team player who is customer-focused and dedicated to achieving community goals.



Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in supervising and scheduling maintenance activities
  • Monitor and prioritize service requests and tasks
  • Perform preventative maintenance on community and apartment appliances
  • Prepare vacant apartments for move-in
  • Help manage the make-ready process
  • Respond to service requests including repairing and replacing appliances
  • Ensure community appearance is top-notch
  • Complete records accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Identify and resolve safety and maintenance issues
  • Assist in training maintenance staff
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Assist with various tasks as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and some college or trade school preferred
  • 1 year of general maintenance experience
  • 6 months of apartment maintenance experience required
  • EPA certification Type I, Type II, or Universal required
  • CPO certification preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems
  • CAMT certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required
  • Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays
