Job Summary
The Production Supervisor will oversee the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently
A key focus of this role is to mentor and coach production employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional development
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for employee development, and a deep understanding of production processes
Bonus if you have experience in the Automotive industry

Key Responsibilities
Employee Mentoring and Coaching

  • Develop and implement individualized coaching plans to enhance employee skills and career development.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, support, and guidance.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate relevant training programs and workshops.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment where employees feel valued and motivated.
Production Oversight
  • Supervise daily production activities to ensure they meet quality standards and production targets.
  • Monitor production processes, identifying and addressing any issues or inefficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
Performance Management
  • Set performance goals and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback and recognition for achievements.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and assist in developing performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Encourage a continuous improvement mindset, promoting the use of Lean manufacturing and other improvement methodologies.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, equipment maintenance, and employee performance.
  • Prepare and present reports on production metrics, team performance, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  • Ensure all production documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies and standards.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment; Automotive industry preferred
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills with a focus on mentoring and coaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate employees.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and health and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
