OverviewThe Logistics Specialist ensures safe and compliant transportation of unaccompanied children (UC) and family units (FAMU), following all U.S. laws and regulations. Responsibilities also include domestic ground travel to facilities and airports while following contract procedures aligned with Cayuse's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

Responsibilities
  • Drive passengers to and from client sites or airports.
  • Log and report vehicle activities through mobile application.
  • Clean and sanitize vehicles, ensuring they are fueled for trips.
  • Assign vehicles based on passengers and install child seats as needed.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and assemble hygiene packs.
  • Order meals, snacks, and beverages for passengers.
  • Perform other assigned duties.


Qualifications
  • Possess an associate degree or relevant experience in law, social work, detention, corrections, or related field.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite Products.


Reports to: Program Manager
Working Conditions
  • May require Domestic and International Travel.
  • Conditions may vary based on Location and mode of Transportation.
  • Must be physically and mentally capable to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule and occasional travel may be necessary.
