Responsibilities of the Shipping/Receiving Associate:
  • Light Administrative Duties.
  • Order Processing: Process incoming orders, verifying their accuracy and completeness before preparing them for shipment.
  • Packaging: Properly package items to ensure safe transportation and prevent damage during transit.
  • Shipping Documentation: Prepare shipping documents, including labels, packing slips, and invoices, adhering to relevant regulations and requirements.
  • Carrier Selection: Choose appropriate shipping carriers based on cost, delivery speed, and destination, while negotiating favorable rates when possible.
  • Tracking and Tracing: Monitor shipments throughout the delivery process, providing updates and resolving any potential issues or delays.
