Admissions Recruiter - School of Continuing Studies - Georgetown University

Job Overview
As their primary responsibility, the Admissions Recruiter reaches out to prospects via phone, email, or in-person - and documents all phone calls, emails, and any other form of interactions in our CRM system (Salesforce). In addition, the work closely with admissions advisors and programs staff to communicate accurate and timely information about the admissions process, program updates, and any other relevant information to prospects.
They respond to prospects within 48 hours and manage their database efficiently. The main database is through the Salesforce CRM platform which houses inquiries, prospects, and applicants. Using the Salesforce features, they email prospects, leave notes in their files, and provide any other relevant data.
The Admissions Recruiter works closely with Admissions Advisors to understand the decision-making process and potentially provide assistance with file completion, and may be tasked with representing admissions during webinars or other recruitment events.
Work Interactions
- Daily interaction with the Admissions Advisors, Program Staff, Director of Admissions and Executive Director of Enrollment Management
- Daily interaction with SCS prospects
- Daily interaction with different areas of SCS and GU, particularly Academic Programs, Strategy, Marketing and Enrollment Management
- Daily interaction with processing and document side of Admissions
- Supports Tropaia and Commencement, as do all SCS faculty and staff
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- One or more years of progressive experience in an organizational setting
- Strong knowledge of CRM and Application Systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with database maintenance
- Detail-oriented team player with ability to provide high levels of service
Strong knowledge of CRM and Application Systems, such as Salesforce and Banner
The expected pay range for this position is $ $31.29 per hour.
Georgetown University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity and external market pay for comparable jobs.
