Line Cook Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various food items using different cooking methods while ensuring portion control and quality standards.
  • Follow presentation and garnishing guidelines for all dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the workstation and adhere to kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Handle, store, and rotate food products properly.
  • Stock ingredients and maintain sufficient levels for efficient service.
  • Take ownership of product quality and assist in food prep as needed.
  • Close the kitchen following standard procedures and assist in overall kitchen closure.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to process improvement.
  • Perform assigned duties by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.

Line Cook Qualifications:

  • Clear communication skills with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long hours, and perform various physical tasks.
