Enterprise Knowledge (EK) is seeking a passionate Data Management Consultant to join the Advanced Data & Enterprise AI Practice team.

As a member of this dynamic team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing state-of-the-art data discovery, integration, and management solutions for various global organizations. Joining as a Data Management Consultant, you will leverage your expertise to craft data governance strategies, execute solutions, and enhance analytic capabilities for clients. Your innovative spirit will drive the exploration of cutting-edge technologies in collaboration with a team of skilled consultants and engineers. Taking charge of data management initiatives, you will steer project delivery, manage client expectations, and engage with stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to clients on planning and executing data management and governance strategies
  • Lead discussions to grasp client requirements, offer advisory on best practices, and translate them into technical specifications for solution development
  • Act as a subject matter expert for clients, explaining data management and governance concepts and advocating the advantages of data governance policies and procedures
  • Educate clients on optimal practices for implementing data management strategies across different environments
  • Collaborate with data professionals and interdisciplinary teams to enhance data discovery, collection, and refinement processes
  • Operate within a cloud setting, evaluating specifications for data management solution implementation
  • Adopt suitable design patterns to enhance performance, security, and user experience
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to model their knowledge domain into data-centric solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, economics, data science, computer science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data management or data governance roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in client interaction, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in distributed data processing systems and SQL
  • Track record of managing end-to-end pipelines within large projects, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and leadership
  • Experience in relational database design and utilization
  • Proficiency in building scalable distributed systems
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Background in data modeling, data integration, and database architecture
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with graph databases
  • Competence in setting up and utilizing data catalogs, MDMs, or similar data management tools
  • Familiarity with software engineering practices like testing, code reviews, and deployment
